FabricWorks is the training, production and enterprise arm
of Stitches in Time.
Our innovative approach to community arts gives the opportunity to local women, from a variety of
backgrounds and skill levels, to take part in textile design and production
courses. The classes are held in the Stitches in Time workshop, and trainees
learn design skills, machining, pattern cutting, pattern design and tailoring.
They can progress to being an active part of our production team, working to
high standards on a range of projects and commissions. All profits from commissions go back into the charity to enable the training programme to continue.
