“Aspirations” a textile tapestry, for the Landmark London Hotel, in Marylebone Westminster. A partnership project with the Portman Early Childhood Centre, Job Centre Plus, Stitches in Time and the Landmark Hotel.

Ten Parents attending the Portman Early Childhood Centre came together with three staff members at the Landmark Hotel and a member of the Rotary Club of St Marylebone to create a collaborative textile hanging with Stitches in Time.
In a series of sessions over 4 months led by artists Katie Adkins, Anna Cocciadeferro and Fateha Hussein, participants met in an informal setting at the hotel, enabling Landmark staff to learn about the lives of local residents, and for local residents to improve their skills and build networks with the hotel.
Each participant embroidered a piece of the hanging, symbolising their aspirations for themselves, their family and the future employment.
The tapestry was displayed at an event on December 5th ,“Aspirations” was funded by the Landmark Hotel.
